Rob Rutledge,

Owner

Rob grew up in Brampton and his family history in the city dates back to the 19th Century. He started his career at 16, cutting his friends’ hair after school and liked it so much he enrolled in barbering college.

“The best part of my job is the conversations I have with customers and the relaxed environment we have here. No two days are ever the same, and there’s always something new. I love it!”

When Rob isn’t behind the chair, you’ll find him indulging his “gearhead” passion in the outdoors aboard a snowmobile or ATV.

Jordan Anastasi

Art and design have always been Jordan’s passions. Barbering is just one more outlet for his creativity – one in which he takes great pride.

“The creative possibilities are endless,” he says, “and I really enjoy the range of customers we have at Al’s, and the funny stories we’re always sharing.”

In his free time, Jordan trades his scissors for a paintbrush or a sketch pencil and dreams of travelling the world.

Jesse Marks

Jesse has been a barber for just over a year. He chose this profession because it allows him to be creative and to be challenged daily while also honing new skills.

He likes how each day at work offers not only a different experience but also a lot of fun. Jesse enjoys learning new things from his clients and they appreciate that his top priority is always to give them the best haircut possible.

In his spare time Jesse enjoys playing music, reading and hiking.

Lauren has always wanted to work as a barber because she loves the artistic aspect of the profession.

She describes her clients and colleagues as “amazing”, and is inspired by the many different types of people she meets each day.  Lauren is a good listener and takes client feedback to heart, keeping up with current hair trends and working hard to master her craft.

Lauren loves sports and the outdoors and in her spare time she enjoys playing baseball, camping, fishing and hiking.  She also hones her creative side during her off hours through painting and sketching.

Lauren Gough

Al’s Barber Shop is all about barbering – the art of gentleman’s grooming that only an experienced barber can deliver.

Rob Rutledge, Jordan Anastasi,  Jesse Marks and Lauren Gough continue the tradition begun by founder Al Widdis back in 1961. Today, they’re taking it in a new and modern direction in their garage-turned-man-cave-turned-barber-shop where your satisfaction is always guaranteed.*
